Five points that make New Zealand very different from other countries

New Zealand is a country that will make you fall in love with itself immediately after you reach the airport. It has been a very loving experience since the first day of my arrival. I received the cap from the university because I informed them the time of my arrival in New Zealand. When you reach a new place, you are already little uncomfortable and if you get a little convenience by the people for whom you are coming. It was told by my study in New Zealand consultant in Delhi that I would be picked up on time.

Friendship development

The people of New Zealand are very friendly. I had friends in most of the universities of New Zealand. It is not at all feeling of consciousness as an international student. Any international student feels hesitated in the beginning to get comfortable with the fellow students. It is comparatively easier to develop friendship with other international students because they are also in the same dilemma. The challenge is when the students of the foreign country do not talk to the international students. But it is not at all the case. The students and the people in my neighborhood are so friendly that I got registered in New Zealand very easily.

Care by professors

When the international students come to any foreign country, most of them are in their twenties or some of them are in teenage also. The professor was over there understand it very well. They take care of all the students as they are taking care of their children or younger siblings. I had a lot of fun on all the occasions and celebrations. I especially was taken very good care when I fell ill. So it is really lovely if you planning to choose one of the universities of New Zealand for your higher education. 

Practical approach over theoretical

The practical approach of teaching by the professors is commendable. It is very nice to take education from a place where there is understanding of the difference between practical and theoretical approach. We are definitely taught the theory very nicely but equal attention is given to the practical learning by the students. Until we apply it practically in the laboratories or in case studies, the professor does not move to the next topic. This makes the concept gets established in the mind for the long term.

Different classrooms for different subjects

There are different classrooms for different subjects in the universities. Our classroom is not just four walls put together. But the entire setup has been designed according to the concepts that are taught in the subject. When you enter your classroom, you get a whole new feeling depending upon the subject that you are going to study. This is one of the best features any university could have. This is a huge investment for the welfare of the students. Moving from one class room to another after every lecture keeps the students active. Designing of classrooms according to the subjects adds value to the theoretical approach.

Short duration of terms

There terms can be understood as sessions. The sessions last for 10 weeks in most of the universities. There are holidays of two weeks in between every term. You will get opportunities today holidays during summer season and Christmas also. The shorter terms work in favor of the students because they can easily go back and enjoy for some time. It is also beneficial for the students were working and those who are homesick. I am really grateful to my New Zealand education consultants in Delhi for sending me to New Zealand.
